The Big Ten presidents could be the first to vote against playing football this fall, Sports Illustrated reported Sunday night. If the Big Ten folds, the Pac 12 will likely be the next. At that point, the ACC, Big 12 and SEC would probably nix their seasons. On Saturday, the Mid-American Conference became the first Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) conference to postpone football, along with all fall sports. The Power 5 commissioners held an emergency meeting Sunday to discuss the possibility of doing the same....

Will they be closer than that? No. 2 Michigan meets No. 3 TCU in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN. The Wolverines are favored by 7.5 points against the Horned Frogs. Our eight-person panel also liked Michigan, but did anybody have TCU keeping it closer than seven points? No. 1 Georgia meets No. 4 Ohio State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN....

Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs told local media outlets on Tuesday it completed an investigation following reports last month that students at Chinook Trail Middle School were being told to attach their masks to their faces with tape or were having the teachers tape the masks to their faces directly. A letter the school’s principal, Tom Andrew, sent to members of the middle school community said an internal investigation found teachers did not tape the masks to students’ faces themselves but did violate school policy....

How Common Is Colorectal Cancer in Children? Childhood colorectal cancer is rare. Fewer than 100 U.S. children younger than 20 are affected each year, about one in a million. It’s little wonder healthcare providers seldom suspect the disease. Defining the term children as anyone nineteen years or younger, it is very rare to find a primary colon cancer. Based on what we know about colon cancer – primarily that most polyps take about 10 years or so to mutate into cancer and not all polyps herald cancer – it’s no surprise that we aren’t used to thinking of children and colorectal cancer in the same sentence....
