The lines and totals listed below are the Vegas consensus as of Friday. You can check out updated college football point spreads and totals on our live odds page .

FAU vs. Alabama (-40, 50.5), 12 p.m. ET, SEC Network

With a spread of 40, you have to give OVER 50.5 a long look .

USC vs. Stanford (-2.5, 54), 3:30 p.m. ET, ABC

Stanford is 20-1 straight up at home under David Shaw, so opportunities to lay a field goal or less with Cardinal at home are always enticing .

Michigan State vs. Oregon (-13, 57), 6:30 p.m. ET, Fox

We have a split-opinion among The Linemakers crew.

Michigan vs. Notre Dame (-3.5, 56), 7:30 p.m. ET, NBC

Our bigger play on this game is on the total.  Notre Dame is 36-16 to the UNDER under Brian Kelly, but that trend is built into the number and we expect it to change with this new up-tempo offense.

BYU (-1.5, 46.5) vs. Texas, 7:30 p.m. ET, Fox Sports 1

There some very convincing trends on the total here, and we expect Charlie Strong to employ a conservative game plan with his starting QB out.

Virginia Tech vs. Ohio State (-12, 47), 8 p.m. ET, ESPN

We’re not sure there’s been enough of an adjustment on OSU’s rating after the Braxton Miller injury, which has us leaning to the dog.

Colorado State vs. Boise State (-9, 55.5), 10:15 p.m. ET, ESPN2

Between the Colorado State ground game, the struggles of the Boise State pass game late against Ole Miss, and the letdown factor, we have a play on the total .
